The Delaware Symphony Orchestra (DSO) proudly supports educators in their work as mentors of the next generation. We support these endeavors through educational programming that is accessible and relatable to students of every age, experience, and background.

Our program options range from in-school interactive instrument demonstrations and smaller ensemble performances to field trips, so students may experience the DSO live on stage. We welcome all opportunities to work with educators and students to present engaging programs that speak to each unique classroom.

DSO Educational Offerings

In addition to our annual Explorer Concerts, we offer a variety of experiences for educators and students — free, open dress rehearsals during concert weeks; group rates for school concert “field trips;” in-school programming for all age levels presented by the Musicians of the DSO (e.g., masterclasses, instrument demonstrations, chamber ensemble performances). A Night Out for Educators!

We appreciate all that educators do! To recognize this, we offer all educators and paraprofessionals $20 tickets* to ALL our Classics Series concerts. Contact Hannah Leposa, Director of Patron Services, at 302-656-7442 to purchase tickets at our special educator rate.
