Concert Run Time: Approx. 85 minutes plus a 20-minute intermission.
Music Director Finalist Filippo Ciabatti is joined by cellist Tommy Mesa for Shostakovich’s virtuosic Concerto for Violincello No. 1 in E-flat major. Opening the program is Carlos Simon’s 2021 Fate Now Conquers, and rounding out the concert is Beethoven’s monumental Symphony No. 5.
