DSO Family Pops

Family Pops Concerts are truly fun for the whole family! Each concert is offered on a Saturday afternoon and is a great way to introduce any member of your family, young or old, to the exhilaration of a live symphony orchestra concert.

One hour prior to each concert, the Delaware Symphony Orchestra hosts a pre-performance Instrument Petting Zoo in the lobby. Children are invited to touch and try the various musical instruments seen onstage during orchestra concerts. Members of the Academy of the Lifelong Learning will provide guidance and assistance for this event. The pre-performance Instrument Petting Zoo is sponsored by Accent Music.

All performances at the Grand Opera House, Wilmington.

Warner Bros. presents
BUGS BUNNY AT THE SYMPHONY
Created and Conducted by George Daugherty

Bugs Bunny is back—and he’s bringing even more friends! “Bugs Bunny at the Symphony” follows the smash success in 2009 of “Bugs Bunny on Broadway.” This new concert of Looney Tunes on the big screen with live orchestra accompaniment includes old favorites like “What’s Opera, Doc?” and “The Rabbit of Seville.” But this time Bugs, Elmer Fudd, and Daffy Duck are joined by Tweety, Sylvester, Pepe Le Pew, The Flintstones, Scooby-Doo—and even Tom and Jerry! Perfect for the whole family—nostalgia for older concertgoers and a great way to introduce kids to the symphony!

For tickets, call the Grand Opera House Box Office at 800.374.7263.
