Guest Conduct the DSO
Indulge Your Inner Maestro!

Indulge Your Inner Maestro!

The auditorium lights dim, the stage lights blaze.
The orchestra and the audience are still and silent, waiting for … YOU!

You weave your way to the podium (to thunderous applause),
shake hands with the concertmaster, turn, and begin to conduct.
The rush of sound, the power of the great music,
and the authority of the dozens of highly trained professionals
thrill you and fill you with awe.

And all eyes are on YOU –
the maker of music, the shaper of sound, the leader of the band.

Come conduct your Delaware Symphony Orchestra!

Maestro David Amado will give you a lesson beforehand
so you can thoroughly relish this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity
to indulge your inner Maestro!
